Medical Checks: All Medicine Checks can be done once per encounter to heal wounds, but only if the character has suffered wound damage in the encounter. A check can also be done once a day during long rest periods to aid another character resting up.
This can also be applied to Mechanics Checks to heal Droid Characters.
Strain Healing: When a character is incapacitated by Strain, on the incapacitated characters turn, The Character may make a Hard (3 Purple) Resilience Check to recover strain equal to the number of successes. A character may do this only while incapacitated and this check has no effect on wound damage.
Advantages can be used to add boosts to further resilience checks while Disadvantages will add penalties.
Triumphs will put the character on 1 Strain immediately and allow them to use a maneuver, While Despairs will cause further Strain damage (the source of the strain is still affecting them)
Further to this, Strain can be healed via Medicine checks the same way as wounds. however the person performing the check must declare if it’s to recover wounds or Strain. you may still only perform one check of each type per encounter.
